Cleaning

Information

I will clean the inflatables when they are returned; but they should be free of debris, mud and dirt upon arrival. WET is fine if it is a wet inflatable, but a $5 drying fee will be charged if an inflatable that does not use water is returned damp or wet. If an inflatable is returned excessively dirty, a cleaning fee will be charged based on how long it takes us to make it rentable again.

Face Paint can cause stains of the surface material. Silly String also damages the surface. This is why these materials are not allowed.

Steps to Cleaning Your Bounce House

  1. Unplug the unit before cleaning.
  2. Take a broom or dry vac to remove any loose debris.
  3. Dip a sponge in a bucket with warm water and a disinfectant to remove any mud or dirt tracked in. Lightly run sponge or washrag over these areas only. These are most noticeable on the steps, slides and where children will reach for hand holds. Do not use scrub brushes or other harsh cleaning tools, as this will scratch and tear the surface of the inflatable bouncers.
  4. Let bounce house dry and then roll up and place in bag. Do not roll up with wet spots, they will mold.

Steps to Cleaning Your Inflatable Water Slide

  1. Expand the slide, and place it on a cover or tarp to keep the bottom safe from dirt and grass. Spray the slide completely with a garden hose to remove the loose dirt from it.
  2. While it is inflated gently step down on the edge of the wading pool portion to drain the water. Lightly spray all visible dirty areas of the inflatable. If it isn't coming off this way, feel free to use a wet towel or mop, both work great. Drain the excess water again.
  3. Deflate the inflatable for between 10-20 minutes. Reinflate the inflatable and you will see water start to bubble out of the seams. It is supposed to do that, that is how it is getting the water out of the tubes.
  4. Leave it up until no more water is coming from the seams. Step on the side again to drain what water you can.
  5. I like to take a wet vac and get the puddles, and then dry it with towels. It takes an hour or two in light sun to get completely dry but I will take care of that.
  6. Then follow tear down instructions in the "How to Set Up" for rolling and folding directions. You may want to have a towel handy to get the dirt off the bottom.
